We’re not called Turtle Cove for nothing!

Turtle Cove Beach Resort is the only Gay accommodation resort in Australia where you can relax on the beach while sipping a cocktail from the SandBar, Cairns only Gay bar, and watch turtles frolic in the waves.

The main turtles here are Green Sea Turtles and if you look across our private beach in front of the resort, you may see them come up for air. They are here 24 hours a day and in breading season (end of November to mid March) we often have nests on our left side beach. We rope off the nesting site and wait patiently for 92 days to see the baby turtles hatch. But don't worry, because when they do hatch we will wake you up to watch the amazing moment!
