On the question of same sex marriage Malcolm Turnbull Australia's prime minister expects the country to decide whether to legalise gay marriage before the end of this year 2017.
Mr Turnbull, a keen supporter of gay marriage and the first prime minister to attend the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras parade, said the question put to voters would be “very straightforward”.
“We will be asking the Australian people whether they support the definition of marriage being extended to include couples of the same sex,” he said.
Can we do it without spending $160 million and sending people straight back to the polls ????? which is an absolute waste of money.
