Booking Conditions

 

TRANSFERS:


We can arrange coach transfers from Cairns and the Airport. There is a $40.00 fee per person for each one-way transfer between Cairns and Turtle Cove. Limousine transfers by advance request: $160 each way for a standard limousine (up to 4 passengers) or $250.00 each way for a stretch limousine (up to 7 passengers). Airport Transfers are subject to availability.

ROOM FACILITIES:


Rooms have, en suite bathrooms, air conditioning, ceiling fans, television with in-house video channels, radio, ISD/STD direct dial telephone, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities. Room check-in time is 2:00pm and check-out is 11:00am. Guests are most welcome to use resort facilities, including showers and luggage storage, at other times before or after check-in. All our rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on the balcony of each room and in some public areas.



RESORT FACILITIES:


Facilities include private beach, pool, jacuzzi, a la carte restaurant, cocktail bar, billiards room with limited gym equipment and internet access, guest lounge, resort shop, tour bookings, Turtle Cove Spa Therapy private poolside treatment room with massage and body treatments, rental cars on site.



RESERVATION DEPOSITS:


Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of one night\'s accommodation charge, or a specified amount for package bookings (usually $400). Deposits must be received in order for the reservation to be confirmed. Visa and MasterCard are the preferred method of payment of deposits. Balance of accommodation is charged 14 days prior to arrival unless by alternative arrangement. For reservations made within 14 days of arrival, the full accommodation will be charged at the time of bookings unless by alternative arrangement. For all reservations made online via the website, the full amount of accommodation or package booked will be charged by RMS Online at the time of booking. Deposit can be made by direct deposit to our bank account by arrangement. Personal cheques are accepted for deposit provided they are received at least 14 days prior to arrival. Without the required deposit the booking cannot be guaranteed. Any accommodation charges remaining will be charged at the time of check-in..



SETTLEMENT OF ACCOUNTS:


Accounts can be settled with cash, traveller\'s cheques, eftpos, or credit cards - VISA, MasterCard, Diner\'s Club and American Express. Personal cheques can only be accepted by prior arrangement. A 3.5% surcharge is applied to American Express and Diners International transactions.



CANCELLATIONS:

Without the required deposit the booking cannot be guaranteed. Any accommodation charges remaining will be charged at the time of check-out.

Bookings cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival attract a $50 administration fee which will be deducted from the deposit paid in refund. For bookings cancelled within 48 hours prior to arrival, one night fee applies. No refund applies to unused accommodation for shortened stays. As the cancellation policy is strictly enforced, we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance. Please note the special booking conditions for the Mardi Gras High Season.



SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR MARDI GRAS RECOVERY WEEK AND WOMEN’S WEEK:


The following is our policy for reservations for Mardi Gras Recovery Week in March and Women’s Week in October. The predetermined packages for these special events are the only rates available during these events. Deposit ($600AUD) must be paid at the time of making the reservation. The balance of the accommodation charge is to be paid no later than 60 days in advance of arrival. (If the reservation is made within 60 days of arrival payment in full is to be made at the time of booking.) Please note that for all reservations made online via our secure website,With more than 60 days notice of cancellation, payments are refunded less $30AUD administration fee. If cancellation for whatever reason occurs 31- 60 days prior to arrival date a 50% cancellation fee applies. For cancellations within 30 days prior to arrival, payments will not be refunded and full reservation charges apply. There are no refunds for partially used accommodation or package components not used. As the cancellation policy is strictly enforced, we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.
